Doyles Room Poker Full Review

DoylesRoom.com now accepts U.S. players.

Doyle’s homepage opens with a very distinct, classy look; it’s obvious from the get-go that this site means business. Things have taken a turn for the better as Doyles Room is no longer limited to a rather small network and instead hooked up with Microgaming, also known as Prima Poker. The intro page is straightforward and easy to follow all the important stuff is where it should be. It is a different experiences to any Doyles Room veteran, but nonetheless an effortless adaption. The latest promos are featured including incentive to receive a free copy of Doyle’s new book. A lot of people have been acquainted with the previous software of Doyles Room that was based on Tribeca's application. There are lots of useful instructional pages for beginners, and the whole thing is well laid out and easy to navigate. New networks and such aside, little has changed here and you will still be able to get the same great promotions. The download banner is prominent, and after a couple of clicks your download is underway.

Doyle’s Room has a good game variety, and as you would expect, there are quite a few players playing at any given time. Variety is not an issue to most poker players who focus mainly on Texas Hold'em and a little Omaha on the side. The lobby, cashier, and all other functions are easily accessed through a few easy self explanatory clicks. The whole thing seems to work well.
Fortunately, this won't be much of an issue at Doyles Room as you have the two mentioned, plus 5 Card Stud and 7 Card Stud. Only a few players sit down at such rooms, but the few who do usually play in the medium stakes.

The visuals are very nice; this site boasts some of the cleanest graphics in the industry. The tables are easy to understand and the players are easily extinguished. The substance of the game play is easy to like as well; games seem to go quicker on this site than on others. Aside from player notes and such, Doyles Room also supports mini table views, allowing for more multi table games. Once betting has completed, cards are drawn immediately and quickly, and while this is a minor programming tweak, it speeds up the game significantly. The only real downside of this software is the rather tedious registration process, but once you've completed that step, you are likely going to enjoy it. All actions are completed in less time than the usual, and this is nice because it allows you to play more hands in the time you allot for poker.

Doyle’s Room has also done a great job of putting together an impressive lineup of promotions. From time to time, Doyles Room may offer additional opportunities for you to earn Action Points that are redeemable for a variety of prizes, cash and free entry into tournaments. Doyle’s Room also has a cool promotion system based around “action points” that allow players to earn free entry into tournaments, prizes, and even a copy of Doyle’s new book. The Action Points are based on the size of the rake as well as every bet after the initial bet. There are lots of satellites for big events, like WSOP, WPT, and EPT, and the tournament frequency is impressive. The only disappointment in this area is the seeming lack of Freerolls, but you can’t have it all.
